Description:  Road Rovers is an American animated series from Warner Bros. about a team of five super-powered, anthropomorphic dogs called "cano-sapiens" who fight crime. The team, led by Hunter, is composed of dogs who are initially the pets of world leaders. When called to action by their boss, Professor Shepherd, they are transformed by a "Transdogmafier" to gain superpowers and fight evil-doers like General Parvo, an evil cat.

Team members and their roles: Hunter: A Goldador, he is the leader with super speed and lives with the President of the United States. Colleen: A Rough Collie, she is the team's martial artist and coordinator, residing with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Blitz: A Doberman, he is the team's "Jack of all trades" and lives with the Chancellor of Germany. Exile: A Siberian Husky, he has a variety of powers and lives with the President of Russia. Shag: A Sheepdog, he is the strong but gentle giant who lives with the President of the Swiss Confederation.

Villain and other characters: General Parvo: The main antagonist, he is a "Feline-sapien" (a cat transformed by his own technology) who wants to conquer the world. Professor William F. Shepherd: The geneticist who created the Transdogmifier and the Road Rovers, serving as their boss and handler. Muzzle: A Rottweiler who was a failed experiment by Parvo. He is kept in a straitjacket and muzzled, but can be released for a final attack.
