Description:  Mad Jack the Pirate is an American animated series about a cowardly, greedy, and extremely unlucky pirate named Jack who is constantly on misadventures with his good-natured rat sidekick, Snuk. The show follows Jack as he embarks on ridiculous treasure hunts, often failing to get rich and frequently becoming the victim of his own schemes or the machinations of his sworn enemy, Flash Dashing.

Characters:

Mad Jack: A selfish, blundering, and cowardly pirate who is more of a "Butt Monkey" than a villain due to his constant misfortunes. He is greedy and often tries to get rich through ridiculous schemes.

Snuk: A humanoid rat who is Jack's "partner." He is the good-natured, albeit often abused, counterpart to Jack's greed and selfishness.

Flash Dashing: Jack's sworn enemy, who often thwarts his plans and takes his treasure.
