Description:  Goof Troop is an animated Disney sitcom from the 1990s about the adventures of a single father, Goofy, and his teenage son, Max. They move to the suburbs and become neighbors with Goofy's old high school friend, Pete, who now lives with his wife Peg and their two children, P.J. and Pistol. The show's humor comes from the contrast between the clumsy, easy-going Goofs and the short-tempered, ego-driven Petes, and the friendship between Max and P.J..

Premise: Goofy, a single dad, moves with his son Max to the town of Spoonerville.

Main characters: Goofy: A well-meaning but accident-prone and scatterbrained single father. Max Goof: Goofy's son, who is more mature and often tries to keep his dad out of trouble. Pete: Goofy's neighbor and former high school friend, a used car salesman with a big temper. Peg: Pete's wife. P.J.: Pete's son, who becomes Max's best friend. Pistol: Pete's daughter.

Setting: The show is a slice-of-life sitcom set in a suburban neighborhood.

Humor: The comedy comes from Goofy's classic antics, the often-strained relationship between Goofy and Pete, and Max's efforts to be more "normal".

Legacy: The series was popular and spawned two feature films, A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy Movie.
