Sectaurs
Description:
The Sectaurs cartoon, also known as Sectaurs: Warriors of Symbion, is a 1985 animated miniseries about a planet named Symbion that was devastated by a failed genetic experiment. The resulting world is inhabited by two groups of insect-like humanoids: the peaceful Shining Realm, led by Prince Dargon, and the evil Dark Domain, led by General Spidrax. Both factions battle for control of ancient fortress-like structures called Hyves, which contain powerful energy. A key element of the show is the "tele-bond" between the Sectaurs warriors and their insectoid companions, to whom they are linked through empathy and with whom they share abilities.
Setting: The show takes place on the alien planet Symbion, which has a post-apocalyptic, alien landscape.
Factions:
Good: The heroic Sectaurs of the Shining Realm, led by Prince Dargon.
Evil: The villainous forces of the Dark Domain, led by General Spidrax.
Central Conflict: The two factions fight to gain control of ancient Hyves, which hold the power to rule the planet.
Unique Element: The telepathic bond between the Sectaur warriors and their giant, intelligent insectoid companions is central to the plot and their abilities.
