Description:  Saturday Supercade was an anthology animated series that featured several 11-minute cartoon segments based on popular arcade games of the 1980s. Each hour-long episode was comprised of four shorter animated shorts, reimagining the limited plots of their source games into full story-driven adventures.

Donkey Kong: Donkey Kong has escaped from the circus, and his original game's protagonists, Mario (voiced by Peter Cullen) and Pauline, chase the ape. Plots centered on Mario and Pauline trying to capture the slow-witted Donkey Kong, who often accidentally helps stop various criminals before escaping again.

Frogger: Frogger is an ace reporter for The Swamp Gazette who, along with his friends, seeks out big stories while dealing with everyday hazards like traffic and alligators.

Q*bert: Set in a 1950s-inspired town called QBerg, a teenage Qbert and his friends deal with high school bullies led by Coily the snake. The segment incorporated elements from the game, such as hopping on blocks and "swearing" bubbles.

Pitfall!: Adventurer Pitfall Harry, his niece Rhonda, and their cowardly pet mountain lion Quickclaw explore jungles in search of hidden treasures.

Donkey Kong Jr.: Donkey Kong Jr. teams up with a greaser named Bones, who has a motorcycle, to search for his runaway father.

Kangaroo: A mother kangaroo, Katy, and her son, Joey, work at a zoo to stop the mischief of the "Monkeybiz Gang".

Space Ace: Based on the Don Bluth laserdisc game, the heroic Ace is frequently zapped by an "Infanto-Ray" that turns him into a clumsy child named Dexter at inconvenient times. He and his partner Kimberly work to stop the villain Borf.
