Rubik, the Amazing Cube
Description:
Rubik, the Amazing Cube was a 1983 American animated series about a magical, sentient Rubik's Cube named Rubik who befriends three siblings, the Rodriguez children. Rubik has special powers like telekinesis and flight, but he can only use them when all his sides are solved correctly; if the cube is jumbled, he becomes powerless. The show, which aired as part of The Pac-Man/Rubik, the Amazing Cube Hour, followed the kids as they used Rubik's abilities to get out of trouble while trying to evade an evil magician who wanted to recapture him.
Plot: The Rodriguez siblings find Rubik after he falls from an evil magician's stagecoach. The magician is the main villain, and he is constantly trying to recapture Rubik.
Powers: Rubik's powers are activated when the cube is solved. He can use a variety of powers to help the children, but a simple jumble can render him helpless.
