Description:  Little Wizards is a 1987 animated series about a young prince named Dexter who is in exile after an evil wizard, Renvick, usurps his father's throne. Fleeing into the woods, Dexter is found by the good magician Phineas, who takes him in and begins to train him in magic so he can one day reclaim his kingdom. Dexter is aided by three magical monsters named Winkle, Gump, and Boo, whom he accidentally created from magical potions.

Protagonist: Prince Dexter, who lost his throne to the sorcerer Renvick.

Antagonist: The evil wizard Renvick, who stole the crown and is hunting Dexter.

Allies: Phineas, a good magician, and the three monsters Winkle, Gump, and Boo.
