Description:  Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is an 1980s animated series about Jayce, a young hero who leads a team called the Lightning League. They use transforming wheeled vehicles to fight the evil, plant-based Monster Minds, led by Saw Boss. The overarching goal is to find Jayce's missing father, Audric, a scientist who created the Monster Minds by accident and who holds the other half of a magic root that can destroy them.

Premise: The show is a sci-fi adventure following Jayce and the Lightning League as they travel the universe battling the Monster Minds.

The Conflict: Jayce's father, Audric, created a magical root to end hunger, but a solar flare mutated his experiments into the evil Monster Minds.

The Mission: Jayce must reunite the two halves of the magic root, one of which he possesses, with the other held by his missing father, Audric.

The Heroes: Jayce is supported by a team of friends, including the wizard Gillian, the pilot Herc Stormsailer, and the robot Oon.

The Villains: The Monster Minds are sentient, plant-like creatures that can take on vehicle forms, and they are led by the monstrous Saw Boss.
