Description:  Gilligan's Planet is an animated Saturday morning cartoon from 1982 that follows the castaways of Gilligan's Island after they escape the island in a spaceship built by the Professor, only to crash-land on another planet. The show features the castaways trying to repair their rocket and dealing with new alien creatures, mysteries, and adventures on this strange new world. It's a space-themed, animated spin-off of the original sitcom, produced by Filmation.

Premise: The Professor finally builds a working spaceship, and the castaways escape the island. However, their luck turns, and they crash-land on a new, alien planet that is similar to their island but with strange colors and craters.

Plot: The main goal becomes repairing the spaceship to get back to Earth. The group faces new challenges, including alien creatures and cosmic adventures, while the Professor works on fixing their only way home.

Characters: All the original castaways are present. The original actors reprised their roles for most of the characters, with Dawn Wells voicing both Mary Ann and Ginger. A new character named Bumper, a friendly reptilian alien, also joins as Gilligan's pet.
