Description:  ALF Tales was a 1980s animated Saturday morning cartoon series where the characters from the live-action ALF show spoofed and retold classic fairy tales and folk tales. The spin-off aired from 1988 to 1989 and featured the Shumway family from Melmac, led by Gordon "ALF" Shumway, reimagining stories like Cinderella, Robin Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk with comedic and parody-driven alterations.

Premise: The show had ALF and his Melmacian friends (like his parents Bob and Flo) acting out different fairy tales.

Storytelling: Each episode retold a well-known story, but with a comedic, parody-style twist, similar to "Fractured Fairy Tales". For example, in one episode, ALF played a private eye hired to discover the name of an imp in the "Rumpelstiltskin" story.

Characters: The main characters were the Shumway family from the ALF animated series, including Gordon (ALF), his father Bob, and his mother Flo.

Examples of episodes: Episodes included parodies of classic stories such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Jack and the Beanstalk.
