Description:  The Flintstone Comedy Show , which aired on NBC from 1980 to 1982, is a 90-minute animated series revival that expands the classic Flintstones universe with a variety of new and returning characters and scenarios. Outside North America, it was known as Flintstone Frolics.

The series was an anthology featuring six recurring segments:

The Flintstone Family Adventures: This segment featured traditional-style adventures and sitcom situations following the everyday lives of Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty in Bedrock.

Bedrock Cops: Fred and Barney join the Bedrock police force as part-time reservists. They are partnered with the shape-shifting character the Shmoo (from a previous Hanna-Barbera show, The New Shmoo) and work under Sgt. Boulder.

Pebbles, Dino and Bamm-Bamm: In a format similar to Scooby-Doo, teenage Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm (along with Dino) solve mysteries around Bedrock with their friends.

Captain Caveman: Serving as a prequel to Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, this segment depicts the superhero's life in Bedrock. His secret identity is Chester, a copy boy at The Daily Granite newspaper, where Wilma and Betty work as reporters.

Dino and the Cavemouse: Short, Tom and Jerry-style chase sequences featuring Dino the dinosaur and a pesky cavemouse.

The Frankenstones: This segment introduces the Flintstones' new neighbors, a monster-themed family (Frank, Hidea, Atrocia, Freaky, and their pet Rockjaw) reminiscent of The Munsters or The Addams Family.
