The Biskitts
Description:
The Biskitts was a 1983 Hanna-Barbera animated series about a group of tiny, medieval dogs who live in a swamp castle and guard royal treasures. They must protect the treasures from the schemes of the villainous King Max and his jester, Shecky, while also dealing with threats like a wildcat named Scratch and a giant moat monster. The show was a response to the popularity of other small, creature-based cartoons like The Smurfs.
Premise: The Biskitts are loyal guardians of royal treasures that have been entrusted to them by various kings. They live in a castle in a swamp and perform good deeds for others on Biskitt Island.
Antagonists: King Max, a cruel and wasteful ruler of a neighboring land, constantly schemes to steal the treasure. His henchmen include his jester, Shecky, and two large dogs, Fang and Snarl.
Other threats: Besides King Max, the Biskitts face dangers from a wildcat named Scratch and a giant monster that lives in the moat.
