Cattanooga Cats
Description:
Cattanooga Cats was a 1969 American animated variety series by Hanna-Barbera, featuring the adventures of a fictitious, hillbilly-style rock band of anthropomorphic cats. The main segments included musical numbers with psychedelic visuals and the animated adventures of the band members: lead singer Country, singer/dancer Kitty Jo, bassist Scoots, and drummer Groove. The series also included other animated shorts and was a package program similar to The Banana Splits but without live-action segments.
