The Roman Holidays
Description:
The Roman Holidays is a 1972 Hanna-Barbera animated sitcom that transposed modern family life to Ancient Rome, circa 63 A.D.. The show followed the Holiday family, which included father Gus, mother Laurie, teenage son Happius, and daughter Precocia, as they dealt with contemporary problems in an ancient setting, much like The Flintstones and The Jetsons. A central running gag was their struggle with their landlord, Mr. Evictus, and the family's pet lion, Brutus.
