Description:  The Great Grape Ape Show is a 1970s Hanna-Barbera animated series about a 40-foot-tall, good-natured purple gorilla and his wisecracking beagle friend, Beegle Beagle. The show follows their adventures as they travel the countryside, with Grape Ape often accidentally scaring people with his size before using his strength and kindness to help them and solve problems.

Characters:

Grape Ape: A giant, purple gorilla with the mind of a child who is kind and helpful, despite his intimidating size. His catchphrase is repeating what someone says, often as a form of agreement, like "Grape Ape, Grape Ape".

Beegle Beagle: A clever and loyal beagle who acts as Grape Ape's sidekick and often mediates the situations they get into. Grape Ape calls him "Beegly Beagly".

Plot: The series features the duo on various adventures, often where Grape Ape's immense size causes initial panic before his gentle nature is revealed. They are a team, with Beegle's wit balancing Grape Ape's strength and size.
