Description:  Hong Kong Phooey is a 1970s American animated series about Penrod "Penry" Pooch, a mild-mannered police station janitor who secretly becomes the masked canine superhero Hong Kong Phooey. The clumsy hero relies on a "Hong Kong Book of Kung Fu" for guidance and often gets into trouble, while his cat, Spot, secretly does the actual crime-fighting.
