Baggy Pants and the Nitwits is a 1977 animated series with two separate segments per 30-minute episode. The first features Baggy Pants, a silent, pantomime-style cat who imitates Charlie Chaplin's "Tramp" character. The second segment, "The Nitwits," is about a retired superhero named Tyrone and his wife Gladys fighting crime with the help of his magically helpful cane, Elmo.
