Doctor Dolittle
Description:
The Doctor Dolittle cartoon is a 1970s animated series about a veterinarian who can talk to animals and travels the world in a ship to help them, often accompanied by his young apprentice, Tommy Stubbins. The main antagonist is the pirate Sam Scurvy, who seeks the secret to Dolittle's ability to control the animal kingdom for world domination. Aiding the doctor are a crew of anthropomorphic animal characters, including the two-headed Pushmi-Pullyu, and a rock-and-roll band of grasshoppers called "The Grasshoppers".
