Description:  Yogi's Space Race was a 1978 Hanna-Barbera cartoon block on NBC that featured four segments: Yogi's Space Race, Galaxy Goof-Ups, The Buford Files, and The Galloping Ghost. The titular segment involved Yogi Bear and other classic characters racing spaceships through the galaxy, a sci-fi update to the Wacky Races format designed to capitalize on the success of Star Wars. The other segments featured Yogi and friends as intergalactic police officers, a bloodhound solving mysteries, and a ghost miner guarding two ranch hands.

Yogi's Space Race: Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and Jabberjaw competed in a series of intergalactic races in unique spaceships.

Yogi Bear: Competed with Scare Bear, a new character who was afraid of everything.

Huckleberry Hound: Paired with a clumsy duck named Quack-Up, while Huck relaxed on a patio on their ship.

Jabberjaw: Partnered with Buford, the sleepy bloodhound from The Buford Files, who was supposed to power their ship by running on a treadmill but was often too tired.

New characters: Also featured a three-person team of Nugget Nose (a gold-obsessed ghost miner), Wendy, and Rita.
