Description:
The Alvin Show was a 1961-1962 animated series featuring the singing chipmunks Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, and their manager and adoptive father, Dave Seville. It was one of the first primetime animated series and included musical performances from the chipmunks, as well as short cartoons about the inventor Clyde Crashcup. Though it was initially canceled in primetime, the show was popular in Saturday morning reruns for several years.
Main characters: The show followed the musical adventures of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, managed by their human guardian and adoptive father, Dave Seville.
Alvin: The mischievous and often troublesome leader.
Simon: The intelligent and responsible one.
Theodore: The cute, innocent, and easily frightened brother.
