Samson: A teenager who transforms into a superhero by using his magic wristbands. Goliath: Samson's dog, an Airedale Terrier, who transforms into a super-powered lion when Samson uses the wristbands on him.

How it works: When Samson encounters a problem, he says, "I need Samson Power" or "Time for Samson Power". He then smashes his two golden wristbands together, which transforms him into a super-strong version of himself. He then slams the bracelets together a second time, sending a wave of energy toward Goliath to transform him into a mighty lion. In this form, Goliath is durable, can leap great distances, and shoot energy beams from his eyes.

Storylines: The show featured a variety of villains and threats, including super-scientists, criminal organizations like P.E.R.I.L., and mythological or sci-fi-based monsters. The duo would often assist helpful scientists or military officials who had created a new invention that evil forces wanted to steal.
