Description:  Birdman is an animated superhero series from the late 1960s about a hero who gets his powers from the sun, and it was originally packaged with the Galaxy Trio. Birdman can fly, shoot solar rays, and create solar shields, but his powers need to be recharged by sunlight. He fights crime with his eagle sidekick, Avenger, for a government agency called Inter-Nation Security.

The Galaxy Trio: The original show was a two-part series called Birdman and the Galaxy Trio. Each 22-minute episode contained two 7-minute segments of Birdman with a 7-minute segment of The Galaxy Trio in between. The Galaxy Trio was a separate group of cosmic superheroes who battled evil in space.
