The Road Runner Show was an animated anthology series that compiled theatrical Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons, along with other Looney Tunes shorts, for television. The show, which aired on CBS and later ABC, featured Wile E. Coyote's elaborate schemes to catch the Road Runner failing due to the coyote's own mishaps and faulty Acme Corp. products. Each episode included a Road Runner/Coyote short, a Tweety and Sylvester cartoon, and a third segment with another Warner Bros. character like Elmer Fudd or Speedy Gonzales.
