Description:
Clyde Crashcup is a kooky, inept scientist character from the 1960s cartoon The Alvin Show who constantly "invents" things that already exist. He is a tall, thin man with a mustache and is always wearing a lab coat. His silent, pudgy sidekick, Leonardo, often tries to warn him of impending failure, but Clyde is oblivious to his assistant's advice.
