The Quick Draw McGraw Show
Description:
The Quick Draw McGraw Show is a Hanna-Barbera animated series from 1959 that features three separate cartoon segments in each episode: the title character, a dim-witted sheriff horse named Quick Draw McGraw and his burro deputy Baba Looey; the father-and-son duo Augie Doggie & Doggie Daddy; and the detective cat-and-mouse team Snooper & Blabber. Quick Draw often gets himself into trouble but is well-intentioned, and his alter ego is the guitar-wielding masked hero, El Kabong. The show, which satirized westerns and detective shows, is known for its catchy themes and recurring gags, like Quick Draw accidentally shooting himself.
Character: An anthropomorphic horse who works as a sheriff, wearing a red cowboy hat and blue bandana.
Deputy: A burro named Baba Looey who speaks with a Spanish accent.
Catchphrases: "Now hold on there!" and "I'll do the 'thin'in' around here and don't you forget it!".
Alter Ego: The masked hero El Kabong, who uses an acoustic guitar to hit bad guys, shouting "OLAYYYYEEEE!" and then "KABOOOOOONG!".
